About Us
With more than 30 years of experience within the healthcare industry... There’s no challenge too big or too small.
Meet Jamie Hamilton
I am an accomplished Occupational Therapist and the dedicated Director of Hamilton OT Solutions, based in the North-East of England and offering services throughout England. I bring a unique perspective to the field, being a permanent wheelchair user who has faced their own mental health and physical health challenges.
With a specialisation in mental health, I graduated in 2020 and have since been devoted to working in the community with adults experiencing various mental health conditions, ranging from severe and enduring to short-term issues. My expertise also extends to the disability sector, where I have assisted individuals of all ages with physical and/or learning disabilities both in the UK and abroad, imparting valuable wheelchair skills and conducting comprehensive assessments
Our Values
As an Occupational Therapy service founded by someone with lived experience of disability, we believe in equipping individuals with the tools, confidence, and strategies they need to navigate life on their terms.
We provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. With firsthand experience of the challenges disabled individuals face, we offer truly empathetic and practical support.
We champion accessibility in all aspects of life, from employment to education and daily living. Our services are designed to break down barriers and create meaningful opportunities for people of all abilities.
We work alongside clients, families, educators, employers, and healthcare professionals to develop holistic, person-centred solutions that drive meaningful change.
We embrace creative, evidence-based, and lived-experience-informed approaches to occupational therapy, ensuring that our support is modern, adaptable, and relevant to real-world challenges.
We uphold the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring transparency, honesty, and respect. As both professionals and advocates, we stand for disability rights, mental health awareness, and equitable access to opportunities.
We help individuals build resilience by developing sustainable strategies to manage anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life’s everyday challenges. We believe in fostering independence, not just through therapy but through a mindset of self-determination.
We don’t just understand accessibility and disability from a professional perspective—we live it. This unique insight shapes everything we do, ensuring our services are practical, realistic, and deeply meaningful.
