Sporting career:
- Played wheelchair basketball since 1983 – represented club and country in the Premier League and European Cup tournaments for some of the biggest clubs in the country at the time; Force, Coventry Crusaders, RGK Panthers.
- Voted (Most Valuable Player) MVP at the play-offs at the National Wheelchair Basketball, Voted MVP for domestic clubs, made the All-Star Team at a major domestic tournament
- Competed in many marathons, including the London Wheelchair Marathon, where I came in 6th
- Competed in 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500m wheelchair track events and was one of the top athletes in the country at the time for my level of classification
- English and Welsh 100m champion for breaststroke 3 years in a row in the early 80’s
- Played Sledge Hockey for Great Britain in European Tournaments in the early 90’s
- Competed in Downhill Mono-skiing in the British Championships, and Scandinavian championships was picked for the 1988 Paralympics but due to injury couldn’t compete.
- Competed domestically and internationally at Wheelchair Fencing
- Part of a 98-person team who pulled the heaviest aircraft 100 metres (Dreamliner 787 – 127.6 tonnes) at Heathrow Airport
